Eligibility Criteria for D.El.Ed Admission

Here is the list of eligibility criteria for D.El.Ed admission. Before applying for the D.El.Ed entrance exam, candidates must have this criterion.

Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards/Councils with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in extra optional.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST category there will be a relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate).

Appearing of Student: Candidates appearing for the final examination of Higher Secondary or its equivalent can also apply to appear in the Pre-Entrance Examination (PET) -2022. However, they have to submit their marks details and log in to their account through the online application portal https://scertpet.in and upload the scanned copy of their original/temporary mark sheet before announcing the result of PET-2022.

Age: Age: The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as of 1st July 2022. There will be a relaxation by 2 years in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) categories.

Reservation: Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and Person with Disability (PWD) will be as per the Reservation Policy.

Application Fees: Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) for all categories to be paid online via Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card etc. during online submission of the application form.

Admit Card: Candidates will be able to download his/her Admit Card from the website https://scertpet.in From 20th May 2022 by entering their application number and date of birth during online application submission.

Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2022: The Venue for Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2022 will be allocated in the “District” selected by the candidates during the online submission of the application form, which will be indicated in the ADMIT card of the candidates. Seats will be allotted to the selected candidates in the Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) of the “District” in which the candidates choose to appear for the Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2022.
