CBSE CTET 2022 – The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct 16th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test – Online) mode between December, 2022 to January, 2023. The exact date of examination will be mentioned on the admit cards of the candidates. Eligibility Criteria Details for CBSE CTET 2022
Classes I-V or Primary Stage
Having secured at least 50% marks in senior secondary (or its equivalent) and passing or attending the final year of a 2-year diploma in elementary education (irrespective of the name)
or
Passing or attending the final year of senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education (irrespective of the name), according to the Rules, 2002.
or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI. Ed) Passing or appearing in the final year.
or
To have secured at least 50% marks in senior secondary (or its equivalent) and passed or attended the final year of 2 year Diploma (Special Education) in Education*.
or
“Graduate with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”
“(a) Whoever has graduated in qualification or education from an NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in class I to V if the person so appointed as a teacher has to compulsorily take a six-month bridge course in primary education recognised by NCTE, within two years of his appointment as such primary teacher”.
Classes VI-VIII or Elementary Stage
Passing or attending the final year of a 2-year diploma in undergraduate and elementary education (no matter by which name).
or
Graduate with at least 50% marks and have passed or appeared for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in 1-year education.
or
To graduate with at least 45% marks and pass or appear in 1 year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in education as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Rules issued from time to time in this regard.
or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI. Ed) Passing or appearing in the final year.
or
Pass or appear in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
or
Graduate with at least 50% marks and pass or appear in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
or
Any candidate who has qualified is eligible to appear for THE TET/CTET in the programme recognized by B.Ed. NCTE. Further, as per the present TET guidelines circulated through NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person undergoing any teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI, field wise) specified in the NCTE notification will also have to qualify to appear in TET/CTET on August 23, 2010.

All the candidates will have to pay a certain amount as an application fee. The Categories wise application fee is as follows:
