1.Post Name: Rifleman General Duty (GD) (for both men and women)

Age limit: 18-23 years on 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: 10th class Passed from recognized board.
2. Post Name: Habildar Clerk (for both men and women)

Age limit: 18-23 years on 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate or 10 + 2 exams.
Computer Proficiency Test Rules: English typing 35 WPM on computer or 30 WPM Hindi typing on computer (time allowed – 10 minutes).
3.Post Name : Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic (RM) (Male candidates only)

Educational Qualification:

Inportant Note : Only one dependent family member of the Assam Rifles personnel who died in action, died in service, was discharged from service on medical grounds and went missing in service, compassionate land appointment are eligible to apply for.

“Application for Compassionate Land Appointment” should be endorsed on the top of the postal envelope in which the application is being submitted.
The last date for receipt of applications from eligible candidates is 12 March 2022.
Candidates may upload the scanned copies of their application along with necessary documents to our official e-mail id [email protected]till the last date of receipt of application.
The recruitment rally will be held tentatively from 02 May 2022 at Headquarters Assam Rifles, Latkor, Shillong (Meghalaya) NRS- Guwahati (Assam).
Qualified candidates will be informed by registered post about the fixed date to report for participating in the recruitment rally and thereafter necessary details will be uploaded on our official website assamrifles.gov.in from time to time.
