Assam JLEE 2022 – Assam JLEE Entrance Exam 2022 will be held in October 2022. Assam JLEE 2022 also known as Assam Combined Lateral Entrance Test will be conducted by the Assam University of Science and Technology at the state level tentatively in the month of August. The exam is conducted once a year to enroll the candidates in B.Tech. Admission to courses in engineering colleges of Assam. 

Joint Lateral Entrance Examination (JLEE) is basically an entrance examination, which is conducted every year by the Assam University of Science and Technology for admission to the third semester of the B.Tech program for that specific academic session. So, JLEE is the gateway for admission to a 4-year B.Tech. Courses under Engineering Colleges in Assam for Diploma holders through Lateral Entry Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam JLEE

Resident-Ship: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

 

Character: The candidate should have good moral character.

Physical Fitness: The candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

Educational Qualification:

➤Recognized Diploma of minimum 3 years duration from any Polytechnic Institute of Assam under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE).

➤Must have at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the polytechnic course in aggregate.

Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in their final examination can also apply but they have to produce their original mark sheet along with the pass certificate of final diploma on the day of admission.

Assam JLEE Examination 2022 Application Fees: Candidates had to pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) online using “State Bank Collect” which provides the facility of payment through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official JLEE application portal. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for this admission process.

1. Scroll down, and go to the Important Web-Links section.
2. Click on the “Online Application Link” and complete the registration process by clicking “New Registration”.
3. In the next stage, click on “Online Application Link” and log in.
4. Fill in your all personal and educational details and upload the necessary documents.
5. Make a payment of the application fee as per your category and submit the form.
6. In the end, take a printout of the application form.
