Eligibility Criteria of Gauhati High Court Recruitment
Citizenship: A candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit: Should have attained the age of 35 years and should not have attained the age of 48 years in case of SC or ST candidates and 45 years in case of others, as on the closing date fixed for receipt of applications.
Educational Qualification:
1. Must be the holder of a Degree in Law granted by a recognized University established by law in India.
2. Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have been so practicing for a period of not less than 7 years as on such date.
